Microsoft has moved its Edge browser development tools for Visual Studio Code from preview to general availability, providing in-editor web site debugging and other functionality.
The idea is to bring Edge's tools to VS Code so developers don't need to switch between the editor and browser when moving from development to debugging tasks.
We can build code in familiar IDEs; we can debug it using browser-based tools such as those waiting behind F12. There are even linters to guide us to writing better code.
