Dallas Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones spoke as Trevon Diggs was still not playing in the loss to the Vikings on Sunday night.

QB J.J. McCarthy threw for a career-high 250 yards and two touchdowns and also rushed for a score as the Vikings beat the Cowboys 34-26 on Sunday night.

J.J. McCarthy is making some top-tier throws against the Dallas Cowboys tonight. He is having a lot of success targeting his tight ends, and on the last drive he found Josh Oliver and T.J. Hockenson before finding Jalen Nailor for a score. Minnesota now leads 31-23 with 9:12 left in the fourth quarter.

The 34-26 defeat was the second-straight loss for Dallas after a three-game winning streak put them over .500.

The Minnesota Vikings came into AT&T Stadium and upset Dallas 34-26 on Sunday Night Football Week 15. Minnesota entered the game already eliminated from postseason contention at 5-8, with the win moving it to 6-8. Dallas is now 6-7-1. Technically the Cowboys are mathematically still alive, but the chances are under 1%.

The Detroit Lions are right back in the thick of things in the NFC playoff picture, and the Dallas Cowboys are hanging on by a thread. Jahmyr Gibbs scored three touchdowns, Jared Goff threw for 309 yards and a touchdown, and the Detroit defense forced three turnovers in a crucial 44-30 win.
