Bruce Springsteen's protest song "Streets of Minneapolis," a response to the killings of Renee Good and Alex Pretti by federal agents, soared to the top of iTunes
White House officials slam Bruce Springsteen's new anti-ICE song "Streets of Minneapolis" as "random" and "irrelevant" in heated political clash.
The song is the latest offering from Springsteen, who has heavily criticized Trump's policies since he was first elected in 2016.
A music video has since been relesed, but the White House is not among those celebrating the anti-ICE anthem. White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson shared a statement to The Hollywood Reporter:
Bruce Springsteen releases ICE protest song “Streets of Minneapolis,” which quickly becomes a bestseller and takes over the iTunes Top Songs chart in the United States.
