Spanning almost 10 years for fans, Stranger Things has dominated Netflix. The popular series was all about Hawkins, Indiana and the Upside Down world the kids of the small town had to encounter. And in the 2+ hour finale, fans were gifted an okay goodbye.

Finally, after what feels like a hundred years, “Stranger Things” has ended.

Over the course of the five “Stranger Things” seasons, the show has seen several tragic deaths, including Barbara “Barb” Holland, Bob Newby and Eddie Munson. So ahead of the Season 5 finale in Vol. 3, creators Matt and Ross Duffer, known as the Duffer brothers, address fan speculations that characters will die.

Season 5 of Stranger Things is its final one, and was made up of eight sometimes divisive episodes... but which of them stands as the best overall?

“Seeing a lot of confusion about the cave scene so here’s a short little explanation: the first shadow (the stranger things prequel stage play) reveals that young henry creel went missing for several hours, and when he was finally found in the cave, he came back with a different,” one fan clarified via X in November.

So will the concluding image of Stranger Things be Mike and Eleven standing by a waterfall, or three? The Duffer brothers say they’ve known the ending for some time, telling Backstage: “We’ve been dreaming about the final 10 minutes of the show for years.” Could they already be telling us what that is?
