It's Oscar night, which means it's also one of the most exciting nights for fashion — and cinema's biggest stars did not disappoint as they walked the red carpet at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. Among the most notable looks?

Nobody calls it Tinseltown anymore, but after Sunday night’s Academy Awards opened with a parade of reflective, glittery silver gowns sparkling down the 900-foot red carpet (nominees Felicity Jones and Mikey Madison mugged for photos, as did Mindy Kaling, Halle Berry and Emma Stone) you could be forgiven for reviving the old nickname.

It looks like the naked dress is very much here to stay on the red carpet in 2025. Arguably the best iteration of this was Ariana Grande's custom Schiaparelli gown, which featured more than 190,000 crystals. We also had Emma Stone in custom Louis Vuitton, which was covered in scales and paired with a new pixie cut from the actor.
