The reality of losing hit Bo Nickal hard at UFC on ESPN 67, but coach Mike Brown isn't completely discouraged.

Bo Nickal suffered the first loss of his career this past weekend in his fight against Reinier de Ridder, and his head coach knows exactly what went wrong. Unfortunately, Nickal’s undefeated run came to a staggering halt at UFC Des Moines after de Ridder started strong against him on the ground in the first round and then blasted him with a fight-ending body shot in the second round.

Bo Nickal’s undefeated run in the UFC came to a crushing end courtesy of a Reiner de Ridder knee to the liver in the second round of Saturday night’s UFC Des Moines event.
