Today, we assess the winners and losers of the NFL preseason’s first week. Technically, this is Detroit's second week, but it is really the first big weekend of football. The Lions previously played in the Hall of Fame game that featured Issac TeSlaa as its star of the show. This week, it was Jackson Meeks.

Once again, NFL Network will carry the brunt of nationally televised games in Week 2 of the preseason, airing a total of seven games. ESPN will also carry a preseason edition of "Monday Night Football," while Fox will broadcast Saints vs. Jaguars in the Sunday afternoon slot.
