CC Sabathia, who pitched the last 11 seasons of his 19-year Major League career in New York, will be wearing a Yankees cap in his Hall of Fame plaque.

When Dave Parker is enshrined in Cooperstown this summer, his plaque will have him wearing a Pittsburgh Pirates cap, the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum announced Monday. Parker, a seven-time All-Star,

CC Sabathia will have a New York Yankees logo on the cap of his Hall of Fame plaque and Bill Wagner will have the symbol of the Houston Astros.

Dave Parker (Pirates) and Dick Allen (Phillies) will represent their longtime teams on their Hall of Fame plaques.

CC Sabathia began his career with the Cleveland Guardians but he spent the bulk of it with the Yankees, which is why he will get inducted into the Hall of Fame as a Yankee.

"I found a home in the Bronx, and I don't think I'll ever leave this city," the southpaw said after his induction.

The Baseball Hall of Fame chooses which cap a player will wear on his plaque, though the inductee has input, and many have opted for a blank cap.
