Appearing emotional and tired, Maryland Sen. Chris Van Hollen arrived back in the United States Friday afternoon, marking his return from a trip to El Salvador where he met with mistakenly deported Kilmar Abrego Garcia.

Sen. Chris Van Hollen met in El Salvador with a Maryland father who was wrongly deported from the U.S. and is being held in a notorious prison.
