Avatar: The Last Airbender is coming back with a brand new animated series following the events of The Legend of Korra, and the first details from the upcoming Avatar: Seven Havens tease that something terrible happened to Korra after her series came to an end.
What’s the new Avatar show about? Maybe Korra can tell us
The new Avatar is dealing with the ramifications of a “devastating cataclysm” and battling “spirit enemies.” Considering that the open portals to the spirit world was one of the big lingering threads from The Legend of Korra, I believe that something with the spirit world has gone very wrong.
